ORGANIZATION
The Settlement and Land Records Department is headed by the director general who supervises in carrying out the functions of the department and is assisted by a deputy director general. There are seven directors in Headquarter office and each director is responsible for the functions of his sector. They are supported by State/ Division Level, District Level and Township Level Settlement and Land Records Department offices.
The seven sectors of the Department of Settlement and Land Records are as follows:

3. Settlement and Planning
4. Statistics
5. Land Records, Survey, Mapping and Press
6. Budget and Accounts
7. Central Land Records Development Training Centre
