Over one third of larger all land holdings used inorganic and organic fertilizers; a small percentage of special land holders prefered in organic to inorganic fertilizers. About 34.82 percent of household-based land holdings used organic fertilizers. ( Table 10, 11 ) A larger percentage of special land holdings ( 56.25% ) used pesticides than did household based land holdings ( 14.19% ) and a large percentage of special land holdings ( 25.00% ) used HYV seeds than did household-based land holdings (16.47%) (Table 10, 11 )
