Although the majority of land holdings used inorganic and organic
fertilizers, a larger percentage of special land holdings used inorgarinc
fertilizers (69.23% compared to 31.25% of household-based land holdings),
while a larger percentage of household-based land holdings used
organic fertilizers(80.95% compared to 61.54% of special land holdings).
(Table 10,11). Also, a larger percentage of special land holdings (58.97%)
used pesticides than did household-based land holdings (14.00%) and a large
percentage of special land holdings (56.41%) used HYV seeds than did
household-based land holdings(33.62%). (Table 10,11)
