A comparatively far larger percentage of mon-household based special land holdings used water pumps (engine or electric)and generators/motors (other fixed power producing equipment)than household-based agricultural holdings (50.94 against 3.57%) and (22.64% against 0.12%) respectively.(Tables 7,8)

28.30% of special land holdings used tractors for cultivation, while only 0.40% of household-based land holdings used huller machines. (Table 10)

Special holdings used machinery and equipment more than the household-based land holdings; 13.21% used power tillers, and 13.21% used other farm machineries. (Table 11)
