Draught animals are usually used in agricultural holdings and they can be owned or leased.
Most of the household-based land holdings (96.76%) and special land holdings (87.10%) used draught animals on their holdings. Among 62 special land holdings (72.58%)owned cattle and (11.29%) owned buffaloes, while 79.13% and 6.25% of household-based land holdings owned cattle and buffaloes respectively (Table 10,11).Only a very small percent (0.46%) of household-based land holdings and a small percent (8.06%) of special land holdings owned other livestock.
