Only a small percentage of holdings used water pumps ( engine of electric ) and generator/motors (other fixed power producing equipment). 4.11% of all holdings or 4.10% of household-based holdings used water pumps and 0.25% of househol-based holding used generators/motors ( other fixed power producing equipment ). Relatively larger percentage of special land holdings used them, the percentages being 27.78 for water pumps ( engine or electric ) and 11.11% for generator-motors ( other fixed producing equipment ). ( Table 7,8 )

3.96% of land holdings used huller machine.Very small percentages of land holdings used tractors for cultivation, power tillers and another farm machinery, the percentages being 0.16%,0.01% and 0.07% respectively. The same is true for household-based land holdings. On the other hand, 11.11% of Special land holdings used power tillers or other farm machinery although no special land holding used huller machines or tractors for cultivation. On the whole, use of farm machinery by all land holdings was quite low in Kayin State.(Table 10, 11 )
