A comparatively far larger percentage of non-household based special land holdings used water pumps ( engine or electric ) and generators/ motors ( other fixed power producing equipment ) than did household-based agricultural holdings ( 47.44 against 10.52% ) and ( 15.38% against 0.14% ) respectively. ( Tables 7, 8)

20.51% of special land holdings used tractors for cultivation, while only 0.46% of household-based land holdings used tractors. ( Table 10, 11). About 0.23% of the household-based land holdings used huller machines. ( Table 10 )

Special land holdings used machinery and equipment more than the household-based land holdings; 29.49% used power tillers, and 3.85% used other farm machineries. ( Table 11 )
