The Government, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (MOAI), will assign a National Project Detector and Counterparts to the project, A National Census Committee will be formed comprising high-level officials from concerned agencies concerned and facilitate the national services in implementing the project.
The Government will ensure that adequate resources are available for the conduct of the Census of Agriculture 2003 including enumerators, coordinators and data processing staff.
The MOAI will provide office space for the international and national consultants and support services and space for local training, seminars and workshops. It will also be responsible for facilitating local travel of international consultants while implementing the project activities.
The Government will provide all necessary assistance to purchase and deliver equipment related to the project.
The Government will provide translators and interpreters and related support facilities, as required.
